About the role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our Merbein Packaging team. Reporting to the Laboratory Coordinator, this position will see you play a key role in maintaining the laboratory to a high standard.
As the successful applicant your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Chemical and microbiological testing of wines;
- Calibration and maintenance of equipment;
- Data entry of results;
- Assisting with duties required to maintain accreditation; and
- Other duties as required.
We are looking for:
- A team-orientated operator with a flexible and positive attitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Well developed interpersonal skills and, ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Previous Laboratory experience or qualifications in Applied Sciences and/or Laboratory Techniques will be highly regarded
