As a Corporate/Legal Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements while supporting the smooth functioning of their business operations. Your proficiency in both French and Luxembourgish is essential, as you will be dealing with legal documents, contracts, and communication in both languages.
Responsibilities - Corporate/Legal Officer
- Provide expert legal advice and support on various corporate matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Luxembourg.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate resolutions.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities, representing the company in legal matters when required.
- Assist in the incorporation and registration of companies, ensuring all legal formalities are met.
- Manage and maintain corporate records, including minutes of meetings, share registers, and other legal documentation.
- Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations, and proactively advise stakeholders on potential impacts.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to resolve complex legal issues and ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements - Corporate/Legal Officer
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
- Fluency in both French and Luxembourgish is mandatory, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience (3 years) as a Legal Officer, Corporate Officer, or similar role within a Luxembourg-based company or law firm.
- In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg corporate and commercial law, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
