Our customer, a family office situated in the center of Luxembourg city, is presently in search of an exceptionally skilled new team member to occupy the role of Senior Accountant. The establishment of this position is a result of the company's flourishing operations, contributing to an energetic and corporate atmosphere. The primary focus of the company involves overseeing the riches and investments of a renowned global family, engaged in diverse ventures such as real estate, funds, and banking. This position provides a chance to further advance your proficiency while broadening your capabilities.
Senior Accountant - Your Role:
- Key member of the financial management team, with responsibilities in accounting, treasury, and reporting.
- Collaborate with trustees overseeing outsourced accounting functions.
- Centralize and control the production of social accounts.
- Define and monitor budgets for each entity within the organization.
- Supervise accounting records and flows of non-market-related entities.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and establish accounting procedures.
- Monitor the group's treasury activities.
- Produce monthly reports detailing cash positions and make presentations to investors.
- Manage calls for funds and distributions related to private equity investments.
- Assess and monitor financing needs for real estate projects in the United States.
- Possess specific skills in managing intragroup flows and settling with suppliers.
- Engage in specific projects relevant to the role.
- Monitor and document real estate programs within the United States.
Senior Accountant - Your Profile:
- Hold an advanced degree in accounting, at least at the master's level
- Possess a successful track record of a minimum of 10 years.
- Demonstrate advanced technical expertise in accounting for soparfi/holding or commercial companies, treasury, and reporting.
- Have some knowledge and interest in investment funds is an asset.
- Having passed the chartered accountancy exam is a major advantage.
- Exhibit strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
- Display qualities of rigor, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Thrive in a cross-functional and demanding environment.
- Fluency in both French and English is required.
